Earth Hour 2018

Dan O Donoghue, Storyteller and Magician, will perform a candlelit hour of Folktales of Mayo featuring Ghosts, Fairies and the Nightsky. In celebration of Earth Hour 2018 and the Mayo Dark Sky Park, these stories will  be interspersed with feats of Magic and  Comedy. Most suitable for adults and young adults (8yrs +). Visitor Centre opening on March 16th, 2018

The Visitor Centre for Ballycroy National Park will reopen for the 2018 on Friday 16th of March. We would like to remind visitors that there are no entrance fees for the National Park Visitor Centre and this includes viewing the exhibition. In light of the Met Eireann RED snow-ice weather warning issued FOR ALL COUNTIES, all National Parks & Nature Reserves will be closed to the public today and tomorrow. Visitors are advised to check the Department’s website and Twitter account for any further updates before planning to visit Ballycroy National Park after Friday 2nd of March.

Iris Folding Workshop
