Special Interest Talks at the Visitor Centre

Bat Talk & Walk 23rd August 8pm

The Bat Talk & Walk will involve an illustrated presentation on Irish Bats followed by a walk around the Visitor Centre to try to locate some of the bat species found in the locality using bat detectors. It must be noted that, as with all wildlife, there are no guarantees that bats will be seen on the night but we will try our hardest. This will also be weather dependent as bats, like ourselves, like to keep nice and warm and stay in when the weather conditions aren't too favourable!

Mayo’s Farming Heritage 28th August 3pm

A illustrated talk about Mayo's farming heritage in our dedicated education room at the Visitor Centre.

For more information on events please contact the Visitor Centre 098 49888 or email us
